Night Operations Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Operations Manager at out fresh food wholesale business to oversee operations during the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all activities, maintaining safety standards, and providing leadership to staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and previous management experience to contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Drivers during the night shift to ensure operational efficiency.


• Monitor safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the premises.


• Handle customer enquiries or issues that arise during the night, providing prompt and professional solutions.


• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and produce to identify and address any issues promptly.


• Maintain accurate records of shift activities, incidents, and operational reports for management review.


• Liaise with other departments to facilitate seamless communication and handover between shifts.


• Manage stock levels and organise supplies necessary for overnight operations.


• Respond swiftly to emergencies or unforeseen incidents, implementing appropriate procedures.

• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within a hospitality, retail, or facilities environment.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively during high\-pressure situations.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour.


• Ability to lead and motivate a large team while maintaining high standards of service delivery.


• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry.


• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.


• Working Monday \- Friday 12am 9am


• Must Drive

Salary £40,000 \- £45,000
