Air Conditioning Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled or not skilled dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various commercial and industrial sites. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, leadership abilities, and experience with equipment repair and maintenance. The ideal applicant will have a background in construction or HVAC systems, with the ability to interpret schematics and work effectively within a team to ensure optimal climate control solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.


• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.


• Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, implementing effective repair strategies.


• Lead maintenance teams during large\-scale installation or repair projects, providing guidance and supervision as needed.


• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate system installations within building projects.


• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues promptly to minimise downtime.


• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system specifications for future reference.


• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair.


• Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and related equipment.


• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.


• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.


• Knowledge of equipment repair techniques specific to air conditioning units.


• Familiarity with construction processes related to HVAC system integration.


• Excellent problem\-solving skills with attention to detail.


• Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC engineering or mechanical engineering are preferred but not essential.
