Night Care Assistant
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support individuals in their daily routines, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of those requiring care, whether in a care home or providing home care services. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, be proficient in English, and have a caring attitude. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Follow individual care plans accurately to meet each client’s specific needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs and progress
- Assist with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic IT literacy for record keeping and communication purposes
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills to follow detailed care plans effectively
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: £12\.71 per hour
