Multi Skilled Engineer
Climavent are Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) specialists who work throughout the UK. The company has excellent potential for progression throughout the organisation. Previous trainees now work within the management, sales and contracting departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist with the manufacture and assembly of dust and fume extraction equipment including:
\- Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic installation and assembly
\- Assist with the assembly and testing of dust and fume extraction equipment
\- Refurbishing of hire units
\- Organising spare parts orders for dispatch
\- Assisting with stock keeping and ordering
\- Assisting site engineers throughout the UK
In house training will be provided by our skilled engineers for assembly and fabrication.
External training and courses will be provided for CSCS, Forklift, IPAF and LEV testing.
The role will be based mainly in the Workshop at Kilbuck Lane, Haydock, WA11 9UX, but some work away from home may be required.
HOURS \& PAY:
40 hours per week, Monday \- Thursday
Meets national minimum wage
MINIMUM ABILITY, SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Good understanding of safety procedures
- Numeracy and literacy skills
GCSE’s grade 9\-4 or A to C in English, Maths and Science.
Level 3 Engineering would be an advantage
