Gas Service Engineer
Established, gas heating and plumbing business seeks experienced Gas Service and breakdown engineers to join our team.
In joining Bartons you will be joining a company who only employs gas engineers and doesn't sub contract work out.
As part of our team you will be looked after, with full office backup and direct communication channels to director level. Suggestions are always welcome from our gas engineers and we embrace those who want to make a difference.
Joining Bartons will give you a sense of belonging to a 'team' and not isolated on your own, which can often be the case with large national companies.
Successful applicants will be responsible for servicing and repairing gas boiler as part of our on going commitment to our customers. Gas boiler servicing and repair is predominately in the St Helens, Wigan and Warrington postcodes area,
As a minimum we would consider those who:
- Competent in all aspects of routine servicing of gas boilers, gas fires and water heaters.
- Proven track record in diagnosing faults on gas combi boiler and conventional gas boilers.
- Good understanding of common faults (electrical and plumbing) on Y and S plan systems
- Excellent customer care skills.
- Excellent time managements
- Must have current domestic gas, ACS qualifications.
- LPG, Commercial or Oil experience would be advantageous but not essential.
