Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and professional administrator to support the smooth running of our children’s homes and contact centre, supporting the management team in delivering day to day administrative tasks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The aim being to meet our ethos of providing high\-quality care for children and their families.

For this position the role will have a focus on

  • Recruitment, on\-boarding and induction of new staff (including making sure we are following our internal polices and procedure).

  • Liaising with our HR partner on any HR matters and supporting managers with HR issues and investigations, making sure we adhere to the advice received and our policies and procedures.

  • A focus on staffing matters including ensuring and maintaining record around annual leave, training, induction, supervision, appraisal and sickness
Duties
  • Maintenance of filing systems, both physical and online

  • Record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings

  • Typing of documents including emails, letters, and records

  • To co\-ordinate, print, distribute and collate relevant documentation

  • Organise and maintain archiving systems

  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external communication, handling phone calls, emails and correspondence professionally

  • Book and co\-ordinate training and events

  • Co\-ordinate and organise the diaries and schedules

  • Petty Cash consolidation

  • Ensuring that all invoices are received / sent and recorded correctly

  • Maintain office supply inventories and order office supplies

  • Resolve administrative problems and enquiries both internally and externally

  • Support recruitment processes including onboarding and managing employee records

  • Keep detailed and accurate records of employee sickness and annual leave and any changes in employment status

  • Support to process payroll, consolidate rotas/ timesheets and maintain payroll records

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding payroll\-related questions
Qualifications
  • BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Business or equivalent

Work Location: St. Helens \- office based with some on\-site work at different locations in St. Helens

Pay: From £28,496\.00 per year
