Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the company’s marketing activities and strengthen our presence within the UK\-Chinese market. The role focuses on developing marketing strategies, managing marketing campaigns, conducting market research and enhancing customer engagement across bilingual marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and promote the company’s logistics services.
- Leading digital marketing activities across major Chinese and English social media platforms such as WeChat and Rednote, including bilingual communication, customer engagement and consistent growth of our online user base.
- Oversee joint marketing initiatives with UK universities, student associations and cross\-border merchants to promote our services and expand market reach.
- Conduct market research and analyse customer behaviour, industry trends and competitor activities to support marketing decisions and campaign planning.
- Monitor marketing performance and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Organising and promoting community\-based campaigns and events to strengthen brand loyalty and customer trust
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
- Previous experience in marketing, digital marketing or brand management.
- Strong understanding of the needs and service expectations of international students, cross\-border consumers and multicultural communities within the UK market.
- Experience managing marketing campaigns across digital and social media platforms, including WeChat and Rednote.
- Professional communication, content creation, organisational and analytical skills.
- Professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English for bilingual communication and content creation
Pay: £48,000\.00\-£52,000\.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Birmingham B5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
