McGeoch Technology, a leading specialist in electrical panel manufacturing for the defence sector, are looking for a motivated and ambitious Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in a hands\-on role that offers excellent opportunities for development. This is an ideal position for a graduate or early\-career engineer who wants to build practical experience in a manufacturing environment while contributing to day\-to\-day operations and continuous improvement activities.

The successful candidate will take an active role on the shop floor, supporting production processes, learning from experienced colleagues, and developing the confidence to train and mentor others over time. We are seeking someone with a hands\-on approach, a driven and hardworking attitude, and a positive can\-do spirit. You should be adaptable, eager to learn, and committed to your own professional growth while helping the wider team succeed.

Key Responsibilities

· Actively participate in day\-to\-day manufacturing operations and engineering support activities.

· Assist with process improvements, problem\-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Work closely with colleagues across production and engineering to support efficient and safe operations.

· Develop technical knowledge and practical skills through on\-the\-job learning and coaching.

· Support the delivery of training, guidance, and knowledge sharing with other team members as your experience grows.

Candidate ProfileTechnical Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.

· Some familiarity with CAD and Microsoft 365 applications.

· Understanding of electrical safety standards and safe working practices.

· Presentation Skills, with the confidence to present ideas, deliver workshops, or speak in team settings.

Monday to Thursday 0730 \- 1600

Friday 0730 \- 1230
