About Us
We are a growing independent brewery and hospitality business operating a portfolio of pubs, inns, and hotels across Worcestershire, Herefordshire, the West Midlands, and Shropshire. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards across our venues and are looking for a practical, reliable Maintenance Team Member to join our team.
The Role
As a Maintenance Team Member, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across our estate of pubs and hotels. This is a hands\-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem\-solving, and working independently.
You will travel between sites to ensure our properties remain safe, functional, and presented to the highest standards for our customers and teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across pubs and hotels.
- Complete general building repairs including basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating, and minor electrical work.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from site managers.
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
- Undertake preventative maintenance tasks to minimise breakdowns and disruptions.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and health \& safety regulations.
- Liaise with external contractors when specialist works are required.
- Maintain accurate records of completed works and materials used.
- Support refurbishment and improvement projects across the estate as required.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, property, or building services role.
- Possesses practical skills across a range of trades.
- Is self\-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise workloads.
- Has excellent problem\-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Can work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Has a flexible approach and is willing to travel between sites.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
- Experience working within hospitality, retail, or multi\-site environments.
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Relevant trade qualifications (advantageous but not essential).
- Competitive salary.
