Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Mover/Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient relocation, installation, and maintenance of industrial machinery. Duties

• Safely move, install, and dismantle heavy machinery using specialised equipment such as hoists, cranes, and forklifts.


• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.


• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs or adjustments as required.


• Collaborate with engineering teams to plan machinery relocations or upgrades.


• Maintain detailed records of all movements, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.


• Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries.


• Assist in the realignment and calibration of machinery post\-installation or repair.


• Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and free from hazards at all times.

• Proven experience in machine moving, industrial engineering, or related fields is highly desirable.


• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components associated with industrial machinery.


• Experience operating lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, or forklifts is essential.


• Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to heavy machinery handling is required.


• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics is advantageous.


• Prior experience working in manufacturing or construction environments will be considered an asset.
