Logistics Operative

Summary
The primary role of the Logistics Operative is to carry out vehicle movements for the Logistics function in line with QMS and the production schedule. This includes being accountable for inspecting, booking vehicles in and recording any damage. Responsible for recording vehicle movements in line with production requirements and updating works order statuses. Hand over collected vehicles following the completion process in line with QMS. Liaise with other departments within Clarks, reporting any issues to production Manager.
Typical Job Functions \& Duties
· Make T\-cards for new orders
· Make sure correct vehicles are onsite and on time in line with build schedule
· Print vehicle paperwork and key tags and put in vehicles
· Book vehicles in and record / report damage
· Carry out all vehicle movements in line with production schedule
· Clean completed vehicles as required
· Arrange collections and hand over completed vehicles
· Book vehicles out and complete paperwork
· Responsible for key cupboard and safe keeping of vehicle keys
· Field customer questions and queries
· Work as part of a team
· Transfer skills to other team members
· Carry out instructions from Supervisors and team leaders
- Carry out duties in line with Health and Safety requirements and make supervisor aware of potential Health \& Safety issues
- Adhere to relevant ISO / QMS process
Ability to establish good relationships with customers.
Have a full driving license, preferably clean
Have good attention to detail
Have good organisational skills
Have good communication skills
Have good personnel skills
Have the ability to handle pressure and meet targets / deadlines
Needs to be flexible
