We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Logistics Manager to lead and oversee our Logistics and Distribution function. This critical role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional people leadership skills and a hands\-on approach to managing logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, cost\-effective, and compliant operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence across the organisation.
The Logistics Manager will serve as the cornerstone of our supply chain operations, coordinating all aspects of inventory management, transport logistics, and distribution activities. This position demands someone who can balance strategic planning with operational execution, ensuring that our logistics operations align with broader organisational goals while meeting the day\-to\-day demands of our customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Transport \& Distribution Management
- Organise and coordinate all transport operations to ensure goods are delivered and received in accordance with customer expectations and service level agreements
- Develop and maintain relationships with transport providers, negotiating rates and service levels to optimise cost and performance
- Monitor transport performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Ensure export declarations are received, verified, and processed accurately where required, maintaining full compliance with international trade regulations
- Guarantee that all delivery documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant legal, regulatory, and customer requirements
- Implement and maintain systems for tracking shipments and providing visibility to stakeholders throughout the supply chain
Inventory Management \& Control
- Organise and oversee comprehensive inventory management processes, ensuring accuracy and optimal stock levels
- Initiate and manage cycle counting programs, establishing schedules and procedures that maintain inventory accuracy
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures
- Enforce corrective actions when inventory issues arise, ensuring accountability and continuous improvements.
