Logistics Data Analysis Intern

Overview
We are seeking a motivated Logistics Data Analysis Intern to join our dynamic supply chain team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in data analysis, process optimisation, and logistics management within a UK organisation.

Duties

• Assist with reviewing logistics, operational and customer data to identify trends and support performance monitoring.


• Support the preparation of demand forecasting and operational analysis activities to gain an understanding of capacity planning and service optimisation processes.


• Assist in creating and maintaining reports, dashboards and data visualisations used to monitor logistics and business performance indicators.


• Support the analysis of customer behaviour, service demand and market trends as part of ongoing business and operational reviews.


• Work with logistics, marketing and research teams to learn about operational processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives where appropriate.


• Assist in preparing summaries of findings and reports for internal review and discussion.

• Currently enrolled or about to enrol in a degree related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analysis, or a similar field.


• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets and perform root cause analysis.


• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.


• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to commute/relocate:

• Birmingham B5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
