Job Overview

Join our dynamic dental team as a Lead Dental Nurse in a busy, thriving practice. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead clinical support, coordinate patient care, and ensure smooth daily operations. You will be instrumental in delivering exceptional patient experiences while supporting the dental team with your expertise and leadership skills. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the dental nursing team to ensure high standards of patient care and clinical excellence

  • Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times

  • Coordinate appointment scheduling, patient flow, and clinic operations to maximize efficiency

  • Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations

  • Provide clear communication to patients about treatment plans, post\-operative care, and oral health advice

  • Oversee infection control protocols and ensure all clinical areas meet health and safety standards

  • Support training and mentoring of junior staff and new team members to foster professional development
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Dental Nurse with a strong background in patient care and clinical procedures

  • Leadership or supervisory experience within a dental setting is highly desirable

  • Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently

  • Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management and record keeping

  • Knowledge of current infection control standards and health \& safety regulations

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
