As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join our commercial team and help drive the next phase of our success.

This isn't an order\-processing role.

The Opportunity

As an Internal Sales Executive, you'll be at the heart of our commercial operation.

You'll work with new and existing customers, handling enquiries, preparing quotations, negotiating opportunities and developing long\-term business relationships.

You'll be trusted to manage your own workload, develop your own opportunities and play a key role in growing revenue across the business.

This is a varied role combining inbound sales, outbound prospecting and account management, offering genuine opportunities to develop your career within a well\-established organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

*Inbound Sales*

\- Be a primary point of contact for incoming enquiries via phone and email

\- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services

\- Prepare accurate quotations and follow them through to conversion

\- Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial terms

\- Coordinate with operations to ensure excellent customer delivery and service

*Business Development*

\- Proactively identify and contact potential new customers

\- Generate opportunities through outbound calls and prospecting activity

\- Build relationships with engineering, manufacturing, fabrication and construction businesses

\- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities

\- Convert prospects into long\-term customers

*Account Management*

\- Manage and develop an existing customer portfolio

\- Identify opportunities to increase sales across additional products and services

\- Build strong relationships with key contacts and decision\-makers

\- Re\-engage dormant accounts and maximise customer retention

\- Grow account value through excellent service and commercial awareness

What We're Looking For

*Essential*

\- Experience within a sales, internal sales, account management or customer\-facing commercial role

\- Strong communication and relationship\-building skills

\- Experience handling quotations, negotiations or customer enquiries

\- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to sales

\- Strong organisational and time management skills

\- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment

*Desirable*

\- Experience within steel, metals, engineering, manufacturing, industrial distribution or construction\-related sectors

\- Experience selling technical or industrial products

\- Knowledge of CRM systems and pipeline management

\- Experience of outbound sales or business development activity
