Due to continued growth, we are looking for a detail\-oriented and proactive Ingredients Stock Handler to join our Logistics team and support the continued development of our warehouse and stock management operations.

About the Role
As an Ingredients Stock Handler, you will be responsible for supporting the storage, control, and movement of ingredients throughout the business. You will maintain accurate stock records, support production requirements, and help drive operational excellence through effective stock management and inventory control.
The role involves regular interaction with suppliers, warehouse colleagues, production teams, and other internal stakeholders.
Working Hours
Initially, this role will be based on a day shift pattern, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.
As the business grows, the role will transition to a Continental (Panama) shift pattern. Flexibility will be required to provide cover across other shifts when needed. When covering alternative shifts, you will be eligible for a generous shift premium of up to £3\.63 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain stock control processes within Supply Chain and Warehouse Management systems.
- Prepare, verify, and manage inbound stock documentation.
- Monitor stock returns and pallet configurations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Process work orders and ensure timely and accurate stock transactions.
- Reconcile stock counts and investigate discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate waste removal activities in line with site requirements.
- Support and administer the site's stocktake programme.
- Ensure products are stored correctly and managed using FIFO and FEFO principles.
- Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanning equipment effectively.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote and uphold high standards of Health \& Safety across the site.
- Build positive working relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- A proactive and dependable approach with a strong sense of ownership.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexible approach to changing business needs.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Knowledge of stock control processes, inventory management, and stock reconciliation.
Pay: Up to £26,126\.02 per year
