Hotel Receptionist - Part Time Weekends Only

*Privately owned Carberry Tower Mansion House is one of the most magnificent Castles of Scotland and is a luxury establishment set within its own stunning 40 acre Estate.*

· *A 36 cover Bistro (open 7 days a week 12pm – 10pm)*

· *30 bedrooms inclusive of 7 suites with room service*

· *Private Dining facilities in various function spaces*

· *Banqueting Pavilion which can cater for up to 150*

*Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Receptionist’s duties will include:*

• *Check in and out*


• *Answering the telephone and directing calls*


• *Taking reservations*


• *Responding appropriately to guest feedback*


• *Giving, receiving and handover of information*


• *Accurate billing and posting of revenue*


• *Efficient and professional attention to guest \& colleague enquiries;*

• *Presentable, professional and well\-spoken*


• *Pro\-active and able to use own initiative*


• *Work on your own as well as within a team*


• *Good working knowledge of hotel reservation and rooms management systems*


• *Excellent attention to detail*


• *Excellent customer service with the drive to go the ‘extra mile’ on a guest’s behalf*


• *Able to stay calm under pressure*


• *Good IT skills*


• *Experience in similar hotel reception role and/or luxury environment*


• *Must be available for weekend work throughout the year*


• *Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK*

Pay: From £12\.95 per hour
