Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate part time Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our friendly and supportive GP practice team in the heart of Sevenoaks town centre. The successful candidate will work alongside GPs, Practice Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high\-quality patient care within a busy primary care setting.
Responsibilities

• Recording observations including blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and BMI


• ECG recording


• Wound care and dressings


• Supporting chronic disease monitoring clinics


• Administering injections following training


• Chaperoning patients when required


• Stock management and maintaining clinical rooms


• Supporting infection prevention and control procedures


• Delivering health promotion advice to patients


• To conduct audits and patient screening in pursuance of the objectives in the Quality \& Outcomes Framework (QOF)


• Qualifications


• Proven experience or interest in healthcare or caring roles.


• Excellent communication skills in English.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.


• Compassionate attitude with strong interpersonal skills.


• Knowledge of care home procedures and care plans is advantageous.


• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs.

Pay: £12\.71\-£13\.80 per hour
