Health Care Assistant (Part-time)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for several Care Assistants to join our warm and dedicated team at The Grange Care Centre, a care home in Stanford in the Vale, Oxfordshire.

*We have part\-time shifts available, and we're happy to talk through the pattern that works best for you. The Grange is in a rural location with very limited public transport links. You will need your own transport to reach us, so please bear this in mind before applying.*

About the role

As a Care Assistant, you'll play a valued part in supporting the health, welfare and wellbeing of our residents overnight. It's hands\-on, person\-centred work that makes a real and meaningful difference to the people in our care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out general and specific tasks that support the good health, welfare and wellbeing of our residents


• Contributing to the development and delivery of residents' person\-centred care plans


• Working flexibly to meet residents' individual support needs


• Communicating effectively and professionally with everyone involved in a resident's life


• Working as part of a person\-centred team


• Working in line with the policies, procedures, aims and values of the home alongside your colleagues

• A warm, caring and professional approach


• A genuine commitment to the dignity and wellbeing of our residents


• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team


• The reliability and self\-motivation that night work calls for


• Previous experience as a Care Assistant is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided, including the opportunity to gain a diploma in Health and Social Care
