Active Plumbing Supplies Faringdon is hiring! Your local Plumbing \& Bathroom Specialist is looking to grow the team and offer an exciting new opportunity for the community of Faringdon and the surrounding area.

We are looking for a Bathroom Sales Consultant to join the team in our stylish showroom, and vibrant trade counter. A good knowledge of plumbing or pervious bathroom sales experience (including the use of CAD design) and trade counter experience is required.

We are a busy and fast paced company so we are looking for someone who can fit into that style of work whilst adopting a multi\-role position within a small team. Our Bathroom Showrooms are the beating heart of our business and our customers journey's start at our Trade Counters, these are quite possibly the most rewarding positions within Active Plumbing Supplies, you will work closely with all types of people such as Architects, interior designers, installers and the retail public.

You will be able to design beautiful bespoke bathrooms on our CAD system for our clients’ ensuring expectations are exceeded and deadlines are met on time, this is a fantastic opportunity to oversee, manage and lead projects big and small from blank canvas’s to fully finished bathrooms you only see in catalogues!

Our Trade Counters often get very busy during peak times and seasons within the year, the perfect candidate will need a proactive approach and be able to support the team with the Trade Counters form time to time.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Maximizing sales of bathroom suites and product through the showroom


• Working closely with plumbers, builders and end consumers building excellent working relations and ensuring a high level of customer service at all times


• Advising customer's on suitable and compatible product


• Compiling quotations


• Formulating room plans on a CAD system


• Understanding and working with architects drawings to create room plans and quotations


• Booking customer site \& Showroom visits


• Processing purchase orders


• Planning deliveries with customers and warehouse


• Dealing with supplier and delivery issues


• Handling customer service and after sale issues


• Maintaining a tidy clean and up to date showroom


• Supporting the Trade Counter operations


• Email and telephone communications management


• Stock Management


• Assisting with Warehouse Operations


• Supporting the Branch Manager with operational duties

Experience:

• Bathroom Sales: 2 years


• Retail Sales: 2 years

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (Required)

Licence:

• Full UK Driver’s License (Required) Max 6 Points

Holiday Entitlement:

• 23 days annual leave entitlement \+ Bank Holiday/National Holidays

Hours Of Work:

• Monday to Friday 7\.30am to 5\.00pm

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: £33,000\.00 per year
