We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Gas Engineer/Plumber to join our team and deliver exceptional service across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems, plumbing fixtures, and related mechanical components. You will play a vital role in providing reliable gas and plumbing solutions that meet client needs while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas appliances, pipelines, and plumbing systems in various environments.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble and modify piping systems.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues with gas lines or plumbing fixtures and address them promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including safety checks, repairs, and system modifications.
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport tools, equipment, or materials to job sites as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical problems using mechanical knowledge and basic math calculations for measurements and system specifications.
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or Plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and gas safety regulations.
- Skilled in soldering, press fit, assembly work, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- ACS gas qualifications in boilers, gas fires and cookers.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and system diagnostics.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to gas systems and plumbing work; relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Pay: £37,000\.00\-£42,000\.00 per year
