Location: Field\-based across the North West and/or North East, with occasional attendance at our Macclesfield office

About the role

Goodwins Auto Salvage is expanding its fleet disposal and vehicle remarketing operation and is looking to recruit Fleet Sales Executives to cover the North West/North East.

This is a genuine new\-business sales role. Your focus will be identifying, approaching and onboarding fleet operators, rental companies and other businesses operating vehicle fleets, then developing those relationships into a regular flow of vehicles for disposal and remarketing.

We are looking for people who enjoy winning new customers, building their own pipeline and developing commercial relationships, rather than simply managing an existing account book.

What you’ll be doing

• Prospecting and winning new fleet and rental customers


• Identifying and contacting key decision\-makers


• Cold calling, emailing and arranging face\-to\-face meetings


• Presenting our vehicle disposal and remarketing proposition


• Building and managing your own sales pipeline


• Onboarding new customers


• Growing newly won accounts into regular vehicle volume


• Maintaining strong relationships with customers


• Recording activity and opportunities accurately within our CRM


• Managing your own diary and customer visits


• Working closely with management and operations to provide a strong customer service


• Helping shape and grow this new area of the business

About you

Previous automotive or fleet experience would be useful, but it is not essential. We are more interested in someone with a strong B2B new\-business sales background who is comfortable opening doors and developing relationships.

Experience selling into fleet, rental, leasing, automotive, logistics, commercial vehicles or other fleet\-related sectors would be particularly relevant.

You should be:

Driving requirement

A full UK driving licence and access to your own reliable vehicle are essential, as the role involves regular customer travel across the North West.

You must hold appropriate business\-use motor insurance.

Business mileage will be reimbursed at an agreed mileage rate.

• £27,000–£30,000 basic salary

No commission is payable below the minimum monthly sales threshold, with commission increasing as monthly sales volumes grow, up to a maximum rate of 15% of eligible revenue.
