Flexi/Bendi/Forklift Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts within our warehouse environment. This role involves loading and unloading materials and ensuring that all operations comply with safety regulations. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems and mechanical knowledge is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload goods from lorries and storage areas.


• Manage materials handling processes to ensure efficient movement of products within the warehouse.


• Conduct regular inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain operational efficiency.


• Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory and manage stock levels accurately.


• Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.


• Assist in lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.


• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.


• Able to operate within all areas of the warehouse operation.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.


• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is essential.


• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements.


• Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and record keeping.
