Fire and Security Project Manager
Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Multi\-Disciplined Project Manager, based in the Manchester area. This role will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects across Fire, Door Entry, Access Control and Warden Call systems ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will act as the key point of contact for clients, internal teams, and subcontractors, overseeing projects from initial handover through to final completion and close\-out.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering security solutions, from inception to client handover. You'll work closely with install teams, clients, and subcontractors, ensuring projects run smoothly and to the highest standards.
Project Planning \& Coordination
- Conduct site surveys and design system layouts.
- Allocate stock \& resources to installation teams.
- Lead client meetings for pre\-starts and walk\-offs.
- Oversee in\-house \& sub\-contract labour teams.
- Provide onsite support for Fire, EML, CCTV, Warden Call, and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Carry out additional works \& system remedial fixes as needed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on critical sites.
- Collate and manage completion paperwork.
- Perform QA checks \& snagging on installations.
- Maintain stock management \& documentation.
- Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems for Buildings (BS 5839\-1\), Level 3 Award
- EACS Systems
- IP \& Analogue CCTV
- Intruder Alarms
- IP Intercom Systems
- Knowledge of
- Access Control, Door Entry \& Warden Call
- SMSTS or IOSH accredited.
- Full UK Driving Licence
