Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nursing staff, providing supervision, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team functioning
- Oversee patient care plans, ensuring they meet individual needs and adhere to regulatory standards
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and manage interdisciplinary meetings
- Supervise medication administration and other clinical tasks with precision and safety
- Develop and implement policies for nursing home and oversee Quality assurance
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections
- Facilitate training sessions on anatomy knowledge, patient safety protocols, and emergency response procedures
- Manage case management activities to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate services across multiple care settings
- Manage team meetings, staff rota and compliance
- Proven leadership in team management within healthcare environments such as nursing homes
- Strong background in patient care including medication administration, Tracheostomy management, Ventilator care (Training will be provided)
- Experience working with complex care clients
- Skilled in supervising clinical operations related to nursing home care services
- Knowledge of CQC Audits and compliance
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating families about care plans
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases while maintaining compassionate patient\-cantered approaches
Pay: £45,000\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
