AA Fire \& Security Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm \& Security Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is confident in installation, commissioning, servicing, and fault\-finding across a variety of fire and security systems.

Role Overview

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and commissioning of a wide range of fire and security systems across customer sites. You will play an important role in ensuring all systems meet industry standards and client expectations, while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire and security systems


• Fault\-finding and repair of system issues


• Routine servicing and testing to ensure system reliability and compliance


• Working independently and as part of a team on various projects


• Providing professional service and clear communication to customers on\-site


• Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations

• Fire alarm systems


• Emergency lighting systems


• CCTV systems


• Intruder alarm systems


• Access control and door entry systems

• Full UK driving licence


• Proven experience within the fire and security industry


• Strong knowledge of installation, servicing, and fault diagnosis


• CSCS or ECS certification


• Ability to pass security screening checks


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Professional, customer\-focused approach


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., FIA units, City \& Guilds, or equivalent)


• Experience across a broad range of systems and manufacturers
