Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pub/Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of pub/restaurant operations, including front\-of\-house and kitchen activities
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and supervise team members to optimise efficiency and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and control costs
- Provide training and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive team environment with strong leadership
- Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Organise promotional events or special offers to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management with supervising experience in a fast\-paced setting
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management skills
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the hospitality industry
- Experience in serving, bar management, or barista roles is Essential
- Ability to oversee food production processes while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, suppliers, and customers
- A proactive approach to problem\-solving with the ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments
Pay: £15\.00 per hour
