Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pub/Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of pub/restaurant operations, including front\-of\-house and kitchen activities

  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met

  • Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and supervise team members to optimise efficiency and service delivery

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises

  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and control costs

  • Provide training and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive team environment with strong leadership

  • Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

  • Organise promotional events or special offers to attract new customers and retain existing clientele

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Skills
  • Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management with supervising experience in a fast\-paced setting

  • Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management skills

  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations

  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the hospitality industry

  • Experience in serving, bar management, or barista roles is Essential

  • Ability to oversee food production processes while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure

  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, suppliers, and customers

  • A proactive approach to problem\-solving with the ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments

Pay: £15\.00 per hour
