Financial Accounts Manager

Duties

• Oversee the organisation’s financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.


• Manage financial accounting processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


• Lead and develop the finance team to optimise performance and professional growth.


• Monitor accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record\-keeping.


• Implement effective cost control measures to maximise organisational efficiency.


• Develop and review financial reports for senior management to facilitate informed decision\-making.


• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure all financial documentation is accurate and complete.


• Contribute to strategic planning by providing insights into financial trends and organisational performance.

• Proven experience in financial management, with a strong background in financial accounting and services.


• Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.


• Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.


• Experience in managing accounts payable processes and implementing cost control strategies.


• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.


• Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are preferred but not essential.


• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
