Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Accounts Manager to oversee the organisation’s financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial management activities, ensuring accurate financial accounting, and providing strategic financial planning. Duties
- Oversee the organisation’s financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Manage financial accounting processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead and develop the finance team to optimise performance and professional growth.
- Monitor accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record\-keeping.
- Implement effective cost control measures to maximise organisational efficiency.
- Develop and review financial reports for senior management to facilitate informed decision\-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure all financial documentation is accurate and complete.
- Contribute to strategic planning by providing insights into financial trends and organisational performance.
- Proven experience in financial management, with a strong background in financial accounting and services.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Experience in managing accounts payable processes and implementing cost control strategies.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
