Extrusion Technician

Due to increased demand for our medical and life science devices, we now have some exciting opportunities available within our production team. We are looking for a driven and hardworking Extrusion Technician to join our team on a permanent basis and grow with the company long\-term.

Work details:

· Extrusion Technician

· Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire

· Pay rate £15\.00 \- £16\.00 per hour (subject to experience level)

· Day shifts (Mon\-Thurs 8am\-5pm, Fri 8am\-2pm)

· Alternating shifts may be required in future

· Permanent position

What you’ll be doing?

· Producing tubing to strict specifications and tolerances, using a variety of polymers

· Responsible for the daily start\-up, shut\-down, and cleaning of multiple extrusion lines within our class 7 cleanrooms

· Overseeing the efficient running of equipment and ensuring scrap is recorded accurately

· Diagnosing process issues and taking corrective action

· Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with the company Health \& Safety Policy and completing daily safety checks on the equipment

· Supporting with machine and tooling maintenance

· Working closely with the Production supervisor and Extrusion Operators, exchanging relevant working information within the group

· Assisting with development trials and new equipment/tooling validations

· Ensuring that all necessary production documentation is completed accurately and promptly

· Training operators to company protocols and work instructions
