We are seeking an experienced and detail\-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while providing excellent support to employees and stakeholders. 22\.5 hrs per week.

Key Responsibilities:
· Process monthly payroll accurately and in line with payroll deadlines.
· Maintain employee payroll records, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
· Calculate and process statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and other payroll\-related payments.
· Administer pension contributions and benefits deductions.
· Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, contractual amendments and salary changes.
· Liaise with employees and managers to resolve payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
· Produce payroll reports and support payroll reconciliations.
· Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation and company policies.
· Work closely with HR and Finance teams to maintain accurate employee and payroll information.
· Support payroll improvement initiatives and contribute to process efficiencies.
· Support with administration of the internal and external charge out rates process
We are looking for an organised, proactive and collaborative team member, with experience of payroll administration. The successful candidate will be reliable, have excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Essential attributes for the role:
· GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
· Previous experience working in a payroll administration role.
· Strong understanding of payroll processes, legislation and statutory payments.
· Experience using payroll systems and HR software.
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
· The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
· Experience of working as part of a team
Desirable attributes for the role:
· CIPP qualification desirable but not essential.
· Experience of multi\-company or multi\-country payrolls.
· Knowledge of payroll reporting and data analysis.
Location:
The role is based in our modern, eco\-friendly offices at Broughton Park, near Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 3FD and includes ample free parking and EV charging points.
