We are seeking to appoint an Executive Director Quality \& Standards Closing Date for applications is: 3rd July 2026 Interviews to be held: on 15th July 2026 Job Purpose
- To provide strategic leadership for quality, standards, teaching, learning and pedagogical innovation across the college, ensuring a culture of high expectations, accountability and continuous improvement.
- The postholder will lead the development of an outstanding learner experience through the implementation of effective quality systems, evidence\-informed teaching practice, workforce capability development and the innovative use of digital technologies, including AI\-enabled approaches to teaching, learning and assessment.
- The Executive Director –Quality \& Standards will play a key role in strengthening organisational effectiveness through the development of robust quality assurance systems, leadership accountability, high\-performance teaching practice and a culture compliance and of continuous improvement.
- The role will support the college in achieving excellence in learner outcomes, curriculum delivery, staff capability and inspection readiness across all areas of provision including apprenticeships.
- As a member of the Leadership Team, the postholder will contribute strategically to whole\-college planning, organisational development and the achievement of the college’s strategic objectives.
- Provide visible and credible leadership for quality and standards across the college.
- Contribute to the strategic leadership and operational management of the college as a member of the Leadership Team.
- Support the Vice Principal – Curriculum \& Quality in driving a high\-support, high\-accountability culture focused on learner outcomes and continuous high standards and quality improvement.
- Promote a culture of ambition, innovation, inclusivity and professional excellence.
- Develop effective relationships with curriculum leaders, support services, governors and external stakeholders.
