Diglis House, a Worcester hotel with a distinctive and commanding position on the banks of the River Severn in the heart of historic city. A superb country house location for business, pleasure and leisure: welcoming and comfortable, with splendid views of the River Severn.

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Wedding and Event Manager to oversee and coordinate all weddings and events across our Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating events to ensure they meet organisational objectives and exceed client expectations. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a flair for delivering memorable experiences. The Event Manager will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery while maintaining high standards of guest service and organisational efficiency.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in a front of house role and will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, the natural ability to work on their own initiative or as part of a team and have a high attention to detail.

The position will involve evening and weekend work.

Musts for the role of Event Manager include:

  • Previous experience in event management (desirable)

  • Be efficient and well\-presented

  • Be organised and able to lead a team

  • Be able to multi\-task and deliver at peak times

  • Be comfortable meeting prospective clients/couples from initial enquiry to the day of the event

  • Be able to correspond with clients via face\-to\-face meetings and email

  • Have full responsibility to respond to all administrative enquiries in a timely manner

  • Work alongside operational team to ensure high standard of delivery is achieved and exceeded

Salary \- £35,000\.00 per annum

45 hours per week

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
