Inspection Cell Lead
A Snapshot of Your Day
You’ll lead the day\-to\-day operations of a high\-impact inspection cell, ensuring product quality, compliance, and smooth workflow delivery. Working hands\-on with advanced inspection technologies such as GOM and CMM, you’ll guide and support your team, driving capability development while maintaining high performance standards. You’ll collaborate closely with cross\-functional stakeholders, influencing quality outcomes and operational performance, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen the effectiveness of the inspection function.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead and coordinate daily inspection activities to meet quality and production targets
- Supervise, support, and coach inspection operators
- Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards
- Review inspection results, manage non\-conformances, and support corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain and improve inspection procedures and standard work
- Monitor performance KPIs (quality, throughput, scrap, rework)
- Work cross\-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
- Ensure correct use and calibration of inspection equipment
- Promote a safe and organized working environment
- Proven experience in an inspection/manufacturing environment
- Strong hands\-on experience with:
- GOM optical measurement system
- CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
- Visual inspection techniques
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong problem\-solving and decision\-making skills
- Effective communication and team leadership capability
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of ISO / AS9100 or similar quality standards
- Lean / Continuous Improvement experience
