About The Role

Salary: £41,177 \- £44,253 per annum

Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Service Headquarters

Merseyside Fire \& Rescue Service are looking for a new Estates Project Officer to join the team. The role will involve managing small value capital building contracts (up to £1m), planning effective strategies and timescales, whilst ensuring value for money for the Authority.

The key areas of responsibility for the role are:

  • To appraise and detail the works required, and supervise the progress of remedial repair works to an acceptable standard.

  • To plan effective strategy and timescales to enable delivery of goods and services.

  • To perform property inspections and audits and ensure any resulting work is supervised, controlled and prioritised as directed by the Head of Estates.
