Duty Manager

The Killarney Oaks Hotel is a four\-star property set beside Killarney National Park, renowned for hosting elegant weddings and providing exceptional dining experiences in The Oaks Bar \& Restaurant. We are now seeking an ambitious and hardworking Duty Manager to join our management team. This role involves overseeing late\-night wedding celebrations at weekends and managing the smooth running of our busy bar midweek.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of a busy bar.


• Maintain high standards of customer service at all times.


• Lead, train, and support staff to ensure a motivated and efficient team.


• Make sure food safety and hygiene regulations are always followed.


• Take responsibility for cash handling, including tills, floats, and the safe.


• Ensure staff follow the hotel’s SOPs and policies.

• Previous food and beverage experience is essential.


• Experience in managing a team and the ability to train and motivate staff.


• Strong hands\-on work ethic with plenty of energy.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• Comfortable working in a busy, customer\-focused role.


• Flexible with hours, including evenings and weekend
