Duties
- Assist in planning and implementing age\-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and development
- Support the supervision of children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety at all times
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to provide updates on progress and address any concerns
- Support the development of care plans tailored to each child's individual needs and abilities
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance tracking, and updating care documentation using IT tools
- Drive or accompany children on outings or trips when required, ensuring safe transportation and supervision
- Previous experience working in a care home setting or with children is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and updating care plans
- Valid driving license is advantageous for transporting children or supporting home care visits
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative and reliability
- A caring attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with children and families
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to child care environments
Pay: £12\.71 per hour
Expected hours: 33\.0 per week
