About The Role
The Contract Manager plays a pivotal role within our Terminal Infrastructure team, ensuring the effective commercial, contractual, and service‑delivery management of a diverse portfolio of building, life‑safety, and facilities contracts. Acting as a key interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will drive high performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across critical airport services.

Key Responsibilities
Contract governance — Manage a portfolio of building and facilities contracts, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
Lifecycle management — Lead contract mobilisation, performance reviews, variations, extensions, and re‑tendering activities.
Performance frameworks — Maintain robust KPIs, SLAs, reporting structures, and audit‑ready documentation.
Service delivery oversight — Ensure suppliers deliver safe, resilient, and continuous services in a 24/7 operational environment.
Commercial management — Oversee budgets, cost control, forecasting, and value‑for‑money initiatives.
Stakeholder collaboration — Build strong relationships across operations, engineering, safety, procurement, and finance to align services with airport priorities.
Essential Experience Required
Contract management within high‑value, high‑risk, KPI‑driven environments.
Building maintenance knowledge including asset lifecycle, reactive and planned works.
Health \& Safety compliance including permit‑to‑work systems.
Supplier performance management in complex operational settings.
Commercial acumen including reviewing variations, claims, and pricing models.
Stakeholder engagement at senior and operational levels.
Desirable Experience
NHF SOR familiarity and alternative pricing models.
Critical infrastructure exposure such as transport or safety‑critical environments.
CAFM systems and job‑management platforms.
Continuous improvement within live operational environments.
Incident response support in complex settings.
Report writing and presenting to senior forums.
