Compliance \& Ramp Training Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance \& Ramp Training Manager to oversee and deliver comprehensive training programmes across the organisation. This role will strengthen our regulatory framework while enhancing safety, operational quality, and compliance standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging learning materials, mentoring staff, and ensuring adherence to industry and regulatory requirements. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, proficiency with digital platforms, and a passion for training, people development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programmes and e\-learning solutions to ensure staff are fully competent in compliance requirements and operational procedures.

  • Deliver ramp training sessions for new and existing employees, ensuring required competency levels are achieved prior to operational deployment.

  • Utilise systems including Atlas, EH, HR platforms, and SharePoint to manage training records, monitor progress, and generate reporting.

  • Mentor and support employees through coaching and development activities to encourage professional growth and adherence to company policies.

  • Lead all ramp compliance activities and ensure adherence to HAL, airline, and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with Human Resources and operational management teams to identify training needs and develop tailored learning solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Maintain current knowledge of aviation regulations and compliance requirements to ensure training content remains accurate and up to date.

  • Maintain full audit readiness through accurate documentation of inspections, incidents, corrective actions, and training records.

  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations and training sessions to engage diverse audiences.

  • Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance across all airside facilities, including property, uniform, operational, and safety standards.

  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventative and corrective actions.

  • Ensure all health and safety requirements are followed during operational and cleaning activities.

  • Maintain compliant and accurate document management systems, including client contracts, audits, and file reviews.
Qualifications \& Experience
  • Proven experience in training, teaching, or learning and development roles within a corporate, operational, or industrial environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in airside operations and compliance leadership within a regulated environment (aviation experience preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of airside safety regulations and operational standards.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences.

  • Proven mentoring and coaching capabilities focused on professional development.

  • Airside Safety certification (or equivalent qualification).

  • Experience in human resources, compliance management, or workforce development would be advantageous.

  • Knowledge of aviation industry regulations and health and safety requirements (desirable).

  • Understanding of data protection requirements and protocols (desirable).

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
