Care Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care environments. Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.


• Provide specialised care for individuals dementia, or other cognitive impairments.


• Support patients with medication administration and health monitoring in accordance with care plans.


• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.


• Manage behaviour effectively and employ behaviour management techniques to ensure safety and comfort.


• Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well\-being.


• Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation.


• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report any concerns to supervisors.


• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when needed.

• Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care is highly desirable.


• Knowledge of patient care, dementia, and senior care practices.


• Certification or training in first aid is preferred.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and assist with mobility support.


• Valid driving licence for transportation duties.


• Excellent communication skills with a caring and empathetic approach.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.

Pay: £13\.85\-£15\.00 per hour
