We are seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our growing care staffing platform supporting care homes and care services across Doncaster. As a Care Assistant, you will work across different care settings, assisting residents with their daily needs and promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high\-quality, person\-centred care and enjoy working in a variety of environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support individuals with mobility and daily living activities according to their care plans
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce social isolation
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding where required
- Maintain residents’ dignity, comfort, and independence at all times
- Keep accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with care teams, residents, and healthcare professionals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Previous experience in a care home, residential care, or domiciliary care setting is desirable but not essential
- A caring, patient, and compassionate attitude
- Ability to follow care plans, safeguarding procedures, and health \& safety guidelines
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Basic IT skills for completing care documentation where required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights depending on service needs
