Care Assistant (Days/Nights) Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Assistants to deliver high\-quality, person\-centred care to individuals living in residential care homes and within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting residents and clients with their daily living needs, promoting independence, dignity, and overall well\-being.

Due to the operational needs of the business, successful candidates may be required to work across different homes and services within the company as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
- Support residents and clients with mobility, daily living activities, and social engagement, encouraging independence wherever possible.
- Follow individual care plans and risk assessments to ensure care is delivered safely and effectively.
- Administer medication in accordance with company policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with residents, clients, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Accurately document care provided using digital care planning and record\-keeping systems.
- Assist with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration support where required.
- Support with light housekeeping duties to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety, safeguarding, infection prevention, and company policies.
- Work flexibly across different homes and care settings within the organisation when required to support service delivery.
- A caring, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting others.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written English.
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems to record and update care information.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards of care.
- Previous experience in a care home, domiciliary care, or healthcare setting.
- A valid driving licence and access to transport for roles involving community or home\-based care.
- Relevant health and social care qualifications, although full training and ongoing development will be provided.
