Main objectives of the role

  • As Campaigns Operations Director, you will play a critical role in scaling our business growth by sourcing and securing the range of work delivered by the services of The Brand Marquee.

  • Your role will include the client relationship management of key accounts and working with the Managing Director to put together compelling tenders to win new work.

  • As Campaigns Operations Director you will lead on developing, implementing and managing all campaign development workflows for our retainer clients.

  • For projects (websites, animations and other one off projects), you will be supported by the website and creative teams and will have a light touch on ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality.

  • The role will mean attending client meetings for all updates and progress discussions.

  • You will be the main point of contact for campaign set up, troubleshooting and implementation.

  • You will be responsible for effective and efficient management of all resources including freelancers and suppliers.

  • You will support the digital content editors and campaign operations managers in building and structuring campaigns through process development.

  • Your role will involve instigating campaign ideas and ensuring projects are managed from inception through development and completion.

  • You will be responsible for supporting the main board in the business growth and being an integral part of the senior team. From time to time, you will be expected to attend senior team meetings and board meetings.
Overview of the role

As Campaigns Operations director, you will be responsible for:

  • Building, reviewing and testing campaign processes to ensure The Brand Marquee delivers compelling campaigns at the highest standard.

  • Resource planning and project programmes so that all teams have the level of resources they need.

  • Lead on all content, whether this is to create it or via a freelancer writer.

  • Work closely with the whole team to design and develop marketing campaign planning, brief development, concept testing, production and post\-launch optimisation and evaluation.

  • Lead on client management for all key accounts.

  • Optimise campaign execution processes to deliver campaigns on time and to budget.

  • Manage day\-to\-day operations and troubleshooting of campaign setups.

  • Develop process documentation and specifications around campaign execution.

  • Put together compelling tenders and presentations to win new work.

  • Adhere to the processes and procedures in place at The Brand Marquee.
You will have the following key skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, digital marketing or related fields

  • 8\-10\+ years of related job experience

  • Strong problem\-solving skills

  • Previous experience in the data center and digital infrastructure ecosystem is preferred.

  • Strong people skills

  • Exceptional communication and project management skills

  • In\-depth knowledge of running B2B and B2C campaigns

  • Ability to manage several marketing campaigns simultaneously

  • A good understanding of current marketing trends
You will have the following project delivery and operations skills:
  • You will have a good understanding of campaign management and implementation working with all three of The Brand Marquee teams – digital, creative and content.

  • You are entrepreneurial and intellectually curious and like to look for new ways of thinking about things, and seek to apply what you’ve learned to new areas.

  • You are impact\-oriented and think deeply about how you can measure the effects of what you do.

  • You are a problem solver, capable of thinking outside the box to find solutions \- even when the problem is not explicitly defined.

  • You are very comfortable working with, interpreting and communicating with data.

  • You are a strong written and verbal communicator, capable of adapting your message to suit different audiences.

  • You enjoy and are comfortable working with technology including SEO software,

  • You have a strong sense of ‘Team’ and are willing to support those around you.​
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and Campaign Operations Manager to lead on and create engaging campaigns that meet the requirements of our B2B and B2C clients.

  • To add value to our business by ensuring our approach to client relationship management is responsive, hands\-on and ensures we take our client on a journey with us.

  • To coordinate the resources from all three teams – creative, content and digital to ensure all campaign teams have the capabilities they need.

  • Ensure The Brand Marquee processes are being adhered to measure success at all levels – profitability, deadlines for clients and all KPIs are met for the client.

  • Produce production and resource reports for the production meetings and for teams to plan their time.

  • Report on poor use of processes and implement systems to ensure consistency across the teams.

  • Support the Managing Director in the Governance, Risk and Compliance including HR, Client Management and Project Delivery.

  • Act responsibly and in a pragmatic way when troubleshooting campaigns. Put in place excellent negotiation skills that enable teams to be receptive to your leadership.
