Cafe Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant café environment. Responsibilities

• Manage daily café operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring smooth service delivery


• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency


• Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive working environment centred on teamwork and excellent customer service


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health \& safety standards at all times


• Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage food production efficiently and meet customer demands


• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to uphold the café’s reputation


• Implement training programmes for staff on service standards, food safety, and operational procedures


• Monitor sales performance and contribute to strategic planning for business growth

Experience

• Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting


• Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations


• Experience in managing teams and leading staff in a busy environment


• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production


• Previous barista experience or knowledge of beverage preparation is advantageous


• Strong leadership skills combined with excellent organisational abilities


• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence
