Business Development Manager – DBS & Employment Screening Services
We are a market\-leading UK provider of DBS checks and employment screening services, supporting organisations nationwide across sectors including education, healthcare, recruitment, charities, construction and corporate services.
Due to continued growth, we are expanding our commercial team and are recruiting multiple Business Development Managers focused on winning new organisational clients across the UK.
We are looking to build a team of approximately 3–5 experienced BDMs who will focus purely on generating new business and developing long\-term corporate relationships.
This is a unique opportunity to sell a service organisations are legally required to use when employing staff in regulated roles.
Demand is constant, the market is large, and long\-term client relationships generate strong recurring revenue.
Last year alone we onboarded hundreds of organisations who now rely on our platform to process their background checks.
The Role
Your focus will be new business acquisition and contract development.
You will identify, approach and onboard organisations that require DBS checks and employment screening services.
Responsibilities will include:
- Generating new organisational clients across the UK
- Building relationships with HR Directors, Compliance Managers and Recruitment Leaders
- Attending networking events, conferences and industry events
- Developing and managing a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Delivering product demonstrations and onboarding new clients
- Identifying and pursuing local and national tender opportunities
- Supporting the preparation of contract and framework submissions
- Working closely with internal teams to onboard new clients successfully
You will engage organisations across sectors such as:
- Recruitment agencies
- Education providers
- Healthcare organisations
- Charities and non\-profits
- Security companies
- Facilities management firms
- Corporate employers requiring background checks
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for driven business developers who know how to generate opportunities and close deals.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven B2B business development experience
- Experience selling corporate or compliance\-related services
- Strong networking and relationship\-building skills
- Confidence presenting to senior decision makers
- Ability to identify and pursue contract and tender opportunities
- A proactive, target\-driven mindset
Earnings Potential
- £35,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission structure
- OTE £50,000\+
- Car allowance provided
