Business and Financial Project Manager

We are the UK's leading retail store network, serving millions of customers nationwide. Central to our commercial success is a highly active, high\-volume global import operation. As we continue to expand our international supplier networks and modernise our supply chain frameworks, we are seeking a strategic Project Manager to lead large\-scale business transformation and infrastructure projects across our international import division.
The RoleAs the Import Project Manager, you will operate at a corporate level to plan, govern, and execute critical structural projects within our global sourcing infrastructure. You will manage complex project lifecycles that span international supply chains, global trade compliance rollouts, shipping logistics overhauls, and financial optimization initiatives. This role requires a balance of rigorous project management methodology and a deep operational understanding of international freight, customs clearance, and global retail procurement.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Project Lifecycle Delivery End\-to\-end management of complex corporate projects aimed at streamlining international import pathways, from origin ports to UK distribution hubs.
Financial Management \& Forecasting Author comprehensive cost\-benefit analyses, govern multi\-million\-pound capital budgets, and track project metrics to drive down landing costs and maximize margins.Global Supply Chain Optimization Coordinate structural project transformations, including transition pathways for moving supplier portfolios, introducing new shipping routes, or deploying automated customs software.
Stakeholder \& Vendor Governance Manage relationships across international cross\-functional teams, global freight forwarders, trade compliance bodies, and internal commercial categories.
Risk \& Compliance Management Build robust contingency models to protect import pipelines against global freight disruptions, port delays, and evolving post\-Brexit / international trade regulatory updates.
Language: Knowledge in all indian language and culture added advantage in order to promote the seasonal products

Requirements \& QualificationsExperience
3\+ years of proven corporate project management experience, directly managing initiatives within high\-volume retail import, global logistics, or international procurement.Methodologies:
Demonstrable familiarity with international trade mechanisms, freight forwarding structures (Sea/Air/Road), customs clearances, and UK import procedures.
Analytical Skills: Advanced commercial acumen, strong budgetary management capabilities, and a data\-driven approach to risk mitigation.
Communication: Exceptional cross\-cultural communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with global entities and influence senior board executives.
Pay: £33,000\.00\-£54,000\.00 per year
