Associate Director of Capital, Estates & Facilities
The post\-holder is responsible to undertake the strategic and operational leadership and management of a range of capital development, property management, estates and facilities teams and to maximise effectiveness, utilisation and functionality of staff resources, equipment and materials.
This includes providing expert advice to clinical and corporate services on the provision of safe, high quality, cost effective services.
Undertake the full range of leadership and managerial duties relating to the management of capital, estates and facilities services. This includes resource management, performance management, investigation and disciplinary issues relating to the directly employed workforce and contracted service providers.

Undertake the full range of leadership and managerial duties relating to the management of capital, estates and facilities services. Responsible for the development and delivery of the estates and facilities strategy for the delivery of maintenance, energy management, fire safety, sustainability, catering, hospitality, switchboard, domestic, portering, transport, car parking, waste management, stores, room booking / utilisation, programme support office, medical equipment and security management, to support safe, effective and efficient services.
Undertake active engagement in regional/national forums influencing local and national services priorities and policy, as the Trust representative being an active participant. Advise and/or develop regional / local policy initiatives relating to capital, estates and facilities services interpreting national policy initiatives to inform and develop Trust policy / procedural requirements.
Develop and maintain policy and procedures relevant to capital, estates and facilities services, negotiate changes in service provision from third party providers to ensure adherence to minimum acceptable standards as specified by the Trust.
