Salary: £37,000\.00 pa

Hours: 37\.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9\.00am\-5\.30pm

Location: Fully remote and home\-based – MUST BE UK BASED

On\-call rota: Two weeks on, two weeks off

Reports to: Head of Accommodation

Jigsaw Conferences provides temporary, emergency and planned accommodation to housing organisations across the UK. We're looking for an experienced housing professional to help lead our national service and deputise for our Head of Accommodation.

The role

You'll manage the day\-to\-day workflow of our Accommodation Team, supporting, coaching and training them to deliver consistent, high\-quality service. You'll oversee complex cases, evictions, damages and complaints, and act as the senior escalation point for safeguarding. You'll also manage client and supplier relationships and support the Head of Accommodation in growing our supplier network by bringing on new suppliers. Alongside this, you'll drive quality and KPI performance and lead responses to emergencies and major incidents on our out\-of\-hours rota.

You'll bring

• Experience as a Housing Officer, Tenancy Officer or similar in social housing, temporary accommodation or local authority housing.


• Experience leading, training or supervising a team.


• A sound understanding of safeguarding, complaints handling and complex case management.


• Experience supporting vulnerable residents.


• Confident working relationships with local authorities, housing providers and suppliers.


• A CIH Level 3 qualification or higher is preferred.

• A fully remote role.

Hours and on\-call arrangements

The standard working hours are 37\.5 hours per week, normally Monday to Friday, 9\.00am to 5\.30pm, with flexibility to support operational requirements.

As part of our 24/7 service, you will provide escalation support to the Out of Hours team on a two\-weeks\-on, two\-weeks\-off rota. This may include emergency accommodation enquiries, significant operational issues and large\-scale or group decants. The advertised salary is inclusive of remuneration for participation in the on\-call rota.
