Wiper (WPR) | Bulkcarrier

OSM Thome is looking for a Wiper to serve on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will work in the engine room, support the engineering team, and help keep all machinery areas safe, clean, and in good working order.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with routine engine room duties and maintenance


• Clean and maintain engine room spaces and equipment


• Carry out oil, fuel, and waste handling as instructed


• Perform watchkeeping duties as assigned


• Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment

Requirements

• Previous experience as Wiper or engine room rating preferred


• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness


• Good command of English, spoken and written


• Fit for engine room work and willing to learn


• Team player with a safety\-minded attitude
