Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will work closely with the Master and crew to ensure safe navigation, cargo operations and deck management on an international trading pattern.

  • Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the Master in safe navigation and ship management

  • Plan and supervise cargo loading, stowage and discharging

  • Lead the deck crew and oversee deck maintenance

  • Maintain safety equipment and ensure compliance with ISM/ISPS

  • Handle stability, ballast and cargo documentation

  • Requirements:

  • Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) license

  • Experience as C/O or 2/O on bulk carriers

  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness

  • Good English communication skills

  • Strong leadership and safety mindset
