Chief Cook (C/C) | Tanker - LPG - Fully Pressurized

OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Cook for a fully pressurized LPG tanker, trading worldwide. Join our crew and take charge of the galley, providing safe, nutritious and tasty meals for everyone on board.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals for crew and officers


• Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness of galley, pantry and stores


• Manage food stocks, ordering and safe storage


• Follow all safety, health and sanitation rules


• Support shipboard drills and safety routines as required

Requirements

• Sea\-going experience as Chief Cook, preferably on tankers


• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness


• Good knowledge of galley safety and food hygiene standards


• Ability to plan menus and manage provisions on long voyages


• Good English communication and ability to work in a mixed crew
